Its a little thick but sure is very strong. Not fitting with my Remington 870, Remington 700, Ruger 10/22 very well but sure work super with my Walther PPK/S pistol. It sure is a universal gun trigger lock but best with pistol.

I purchased this lock and the "Club Brand Combination Gun Trigger Lock" to compare the two. I believe both are good locks and would adequetely keep your firearms safe from children or others from using them. I found this lock to be difficult to set the combination and difficult to turn the dial to unlock it. The Club Brand lock was easy to set the combination and is easy to turn the dials to unlock it. I will be purchasing more of the Club Brand for my other firearms.

The attractions of this lock was that I would not have to fumble around with a key should I need to unlock my gun in a hurry and that I could set my own combination. Setting the combination was a little trying (having to hold a pencil in place while changing the numbers) but do-ible. It took a little practice to get the lock in the right place on the triger guard when locking it. The best position was with the cross bar back as far as possible. Again not a big problem (the instructions were of little help in this). All in all a good lock for the money.

This product is top notch and priced right. Easy to use and is dependable. I purchased 1, then went back and bought to more. I use it for my rife and 9mm. It fits my rifle perfectly, and fits my 9mm pretty good. I wouldn't try another product, this one does the job!!! A+

Master Lock 94DSPT Combination Gun Lock
Good product. Locks trigger and lets you use a combination vs having to find the key. Also, combination resets to 0 when you spin the combination one way so you can unlock the trigger lock w/o having to see the #s.
